Open Source MANO demos at Mobile World Congress 2017

A number of OSM community members are showing demos at this year's Mobile World Congress.

We're maintaining a list of demos. Please check back regularly as more community members release details.

More details on each of these demos is available in our OSM Blog!

DevOps in Service Chains and 5G Network Slices

Demo partner logosJoin Telenor, Arctos Labs, Cisco, Intel, Netrounds, and RIFT.io in the RIFT.io booth at Mobile World Congress 2017 to see our DevOps in Service Chains and 5G Network Slices PoC demo featuring Open Source MANO Release ONE.

This PoC highlights:

  • assured network quality and dynamic control of virtual services and 5G network slices.
  • NFV MANO for advanced orchestration of virtual test agents as part of network service design (NSD) for full service life cycle SLA assurance.
  • automation of active testing through DevOps approaches to network management during 5G network slice deployment.

View the demo in Hall 6, Booth 6J8.

To book your one-on-one demo, please make a request with Netrounds or RIFT.io on the linked pages.

RADCOM logoRADCOM MaveriQ portfolio running on Open Source MANO

Join RADCOM at MWC 2017 where we will be showcasing our MaveriQ portfolio running on Open Source MANO. During the demo, we will:

  • Create and instantiate a vProbe via OSM
  • Capture and monitor network traffic
  • Verify vProbe’s packet reception
  • Come meet us at MWC 2017

Meet us at Hall 2, Stand 2D60.

Network Services with Integrated VNF Verification

Ixia, Canonical, DataArt Solutions, and Sonus recently joined forces to demonstrate the viability and value of automating VNF verification in OSM.  DataArt led the integration of products from all participants to create multiple “Network Services with Integrated VNF Verification” proof-of-concept solutions to showcase automated deployment and execution of carrier-grade network testing and monitoring.  The demonstrations highlight the ease of packaging and modelling with OSM and Juju, the capabilities of Ixia’s IxLoad Virtual Edition for comprehensive network testing, the deep network visibility provided by Ixia’s Phantom Virtual Tap, and the strength of the Sonus Session Border Controller Software Edition to operate across diverse virtualized infrastructure using OpenStack, Ubuntu and Intel.

Stop by the Canonical stand at Mobile World Congress 2017 (Hall P3 – 3K31) to see the demonstrations and learn more.
