* '''Abstract''': This demo will showcase how to coordinate end-to-end services composed of satellite, radio access, and cloud/edge computing resources through a single coordination framework. '''TALENT''' is a coordination solution used for provisioning and configuration of an end-to-end video multi-casting service from the ground into the airplane cabin. It is loaded with the proper information about the domains under control. In this case, '''OSM''' for the cloud and totalNMS of Gilat for the satellite. First TALENT set up the cloud environment with proper VNFs and internal virtual networks needed, and it makes ensure that the cloud set up can reach the provisioning VNF between Munich and satellite gateway location. Then TALENT sends a configuration file to the ground station of satellite system. With this configuration file, TALENT completes the provisioning of satellite connectivity from the ground to the airplane cobin mock-up. Once the connectivity is in place and it has been acknowledged, 5G application can launch video multi-casting.

Optimized & automated placement of 5G UPF to achieve latency constraints

  • Location:
    • Hall 5 Stand 5D48
  • Abstract: This demo will showcase how placement of a 5G Use Plan Function (UPF) can be automated to support requested service constraints such as latency. The demo utilizes OSM Release SEVEN and the new placement feature contributed by Arctos Labs as well as a UPF and service design provided by TietoEVRY

Zero-touch assurance activation of new digital services with OSM

  • Location:
    • Hall 1, Stand 1A42 (near the entrance)
  • Abstract: MYCOM OSI will be demonstrating zero-touch activation of assurance policies for VNFs created in OSM, through automated detection, ingestion of performance counter descriptors and instantiation of performance management monitoring within 5 minutes, based on MYCOM OSI’s award-winning PrOptima™ Performance Management application, part of its cloud-native Experience Assurance & Analytics™ suite in use by Tier 1 CSPs globally such as Deutsche Telekom, Globe, Reliance Jio, Safaricom, STC, Telefónica, Three UK, Telenor, T-Mobile, Verizon and Vodafone.

5GENESIS Coordination Layer

  • Location:
    • Hall 7 Stand 7K39 - @5GPPP
  • Abstract: The main objective of 5GENESIS is to provide a 5G experimental facility that will allow 5G KPI validation and vertical application testing and showcasing. The main component of the 5GENESIS facility is the Coordination Layer which is responsible for accepting the requests for the on-boarding of the vertical application components (i.e. VNFs / NS), setup of the experiments test cases and controlling the experiment lifecycle. The Coordination Layer also is managing the provision of network slices across the facility’s infrastructure interfacing with the NFVO (in this case OSM) for provisioning of the NFVI resources. The demo story-line presents the process of a complete experiment composition, followed by the slice creation, service instantiation and experiment execution. The demo will be executed in real-time accessing remotely a 5GENESIS facility in Malaga.

5G-VINNI - E2E Service specification and deployment, from TMF Open APIs to NFV Orchestrators

  • Location:
    • Hall 7 Stand 7K39 - @5GPPP
  • Abstract: Openslice is a prototype open source, operations support system. It supports VNF/NSD onboarding to OpenSourceMANO (OSM) and NSD deployment management. It also supports TMFORUM OpenAPIs regarding Service Catalog Management, Ordering, Resource, etc. This demo will show how Openslice can be used to design a Service Specification according to TMF Service model. Openslice Service Orchestrator and order Management System, deploys NFV artifacts of the Service Specification by interacting with Open Source MANO NFV Orchestrator. The Service Specification can be modeled as GSMA Generic Slice Template (GST) or as the VINNI-Service Blueprint.

5G EVE - 5G European Validation platform for Extensive trials

  • Location:
    • Hall 7 Stand 7K39 - @5GPPP
  • Abstract: 5G EVE aims at offering vertical industries a validation platform with full sets of 5G capabilities. The platform interconnects four existing 5G trial sites in Europe (located in Greece, Spain, France, and Italy), two of which are orchestrated with ETSI OSM. The demo will show how verticals can deploy, test, and validate KPIs for their services through an open, unified, functional, and operational API. Many scenarios can be quickly created by templating services through the concept of blueprints. Test results and KPI validation are shown in a user-friendly web UI for an easy understanding.

  • Location:
    • Stand 7G71 - Belgium Pavilion - Open Area
  • Abstract: This demo will showcase a mini 5GCity deployment, as compared to what is done in the Barcelona city, within Belgium pavilion. It will include 5GCity platform along with compute and wireless access technologies (Small Cell + WiFi) to demonstrate infrastructure slicing, multi-tier orchestration (based on OSM) and other technical achievements of the project alongside a live demo of on-demand video acquisition and production use case demo. 5GCity will also make an outdoor demo during the MWC2020 in the Pere IV district of Barcelona city, which will showcase a Mobile Backpack demo for live event video broadcasting from the street using a slice of the 5GCity infrastructure in the city of Barcelona.
