ETSI OSM & Summer of Code

ETSI OSM is applying as hosting organisation to the Google Summer of Code (GSoC). OSM is a great place to spend a summer learning, coding, participating and contributing. We are an exciting open source project with a vibrant community of contributors from all over the world and we look forward to your application and your project ideas!

Network Service Optimization

  • Description: Nowadays, a critical point of the operations is the resource optimization in terms of ensuring the quality of service with the minimum resources to save not only money but also energy. This feature intends to process the monitoring data from OSM monitoring system and provide hints about the optimization of the NS to increase or reduce not only the flavour but also the amount of VNFs in a scaled group.
