Abstract
5G envisions the rise of different verticals spanning a wide area from Automotive to eHealth. For these verticals to be successful, their instantiation must be easy and reproducible. Configuration should be automatic and error-prone. Day 2 operations should also be managed using MANO (e.g. OSM), so there is no need to manually setup configurations for new users/clients. This PoC demonstrates a use case for an enterprise communications vertical, which can be fully orchestrated and managed by OSM.
Key Takeaways
- Demonstrate a 5G vertical scenario being orchestrated and managed by OSM
- Usage of Day 0/1/2 configuration to make the initial configuration and add clients to the vertical
- Dynamically configure different service chains to provide differentiated services to specific clients
