Description
Summary: Creation of east-west interfaces in order to allow deployment of network services through at least two different administrative domains
The orchestration between multiple administrative domains is addressed by ETSI in ETSI GS NFV-IFA 030.
According to this document: Administrative domains can be mapped to different organizations, e.g.
different network operators or different departments of the same network operator.
Multiple administrative domain aspects include the case of network service offered by multiple administrative domains.
The concept of composite NS and nested NS as specified in ETSI GS NFV-IFA 010 is utilized.
Reference point Or-Or is provided in NFV-MANO architecture for supporting the interoperability in this case.
Under this ETSI definition, this request for features specifically ask the creation of the mentioned Or-Or interfaces that may be also called East/West OSM Interfaces. The following functional requirements proposed initially by ETSI GS NFV-IFA 030 are:
NSD Management interface NS Lifecycle Management interface NS Performance Management interface NS Fault Management interface NS Lifecycle Management Operation Granting interface NS Instance Usage Notification interface.
Demo or definition of done
