Description

This feature is intended to add the necessary fields in the descriptor or the package to allow backwards compatibility of descriptors with new releases of OSM from Release N, where N is the number of release to be decided.

NBI will be able to receive packages with any descriptor version and will be able to handle them.

In addition, tools will be provided (ideally through osmclient) to allow the translation and validation of the different descriptor versions.

Demo or definition of done

A new robot test will be created or an existing one will be updated. The robot test will onboard two VNF and NS packages with different descriptor versions and will instantiate both NS. The feature will be considered done when the new/updated test is passed.
