Description

OSM today supports deploying VNFs in local VIMs (OpenStack, OpenVIM, vCLoud Director, ...) as well as in Public Clouds (AWS, Azure). Enabling Google Cloud would expand usage of OSM.

The implementation of this feature will imply a new VIM plugin or connector in the RO, following the relevant guidelines: https://osm.etsi.org/wikipub/index.php/Developer_HowTo_for_RO_Module#Creating_a_new_VIM_plugin

Demo or definition of done

• Creation of a VIM of type Google Cloud Platform.
• Instantiation and management of a simple VNF with a charm.
• Termination.
